Firefly: Magnificent Nine: Review
In Firefly: Magnificent Nine, the author James Lovegrove tells of a rescue mission undertaken by the Serenity's crew. The usually tough Jayne is drawn to a distress message from a former flame. The rest of the crew agrees to join him, and are quickly drawn into protecting a town from bandits holding it hostage and threatening its water supply. If fighting against a much larger force wasn't enough, Jayne also has to contend with the surprise discovery that his girlfriend has a daughter whose age could make her Jayne's daughter.
Firefly: Magnificent Nine combines space opera, western, and a bit of romantic comedy into a fun novel infused with Firefly spirit. Fans of the series will find much to enjoy here.
