This Little Light: Review
This Little Light by Lori Lansens is an extremely quick-paced story about two plucky teenagers on the run from a crime for which they were framed. In the suburbs and hills surrounding their high school and neighborhood they have to evade the authorities while they try to figure out and expose the real culprits. All the while, frequent vigilante drones and other high-tech surveillance threaten to end their freedom. With flashbacks to fill in the background, the full story eventually comes to light.
In total, This Little Light is an engrossing tale of self-confidence and perseverance in the face of powerful evil. While the technology might be in the near future, the problems of persecution and conformity faced by the girls are timeless.
