10 July 2004 Stonegate Landscape Survey
Survey Area
During this survey we covered these areas:
- Between Wiscasset and Penobscot
- Between Penobscot and Stonegate
- Between Stonegate and Carmenita
Issues Identified
- Between Wiscasset and Penobscot
- (Picture 1) 7511 Penobscot: Hillside has recovered from
previous underwatering. Myoporum are growing nicely, will
cover the hillside eventually
- (Picture 2) 7511 Penobscot: Replanted area looks good
after replacing dead, unwatered myoporum
- (Picture 3) 7543 Penobscot: On upslope, newly-planted
myoporum look good as well.
- (Picture 4) 7556 Wiscasset: Drain pipe empties out to
hillside.
- Between Penobscot and Stonegate
- (Pictures 5 and 6) 7528 Penobscot: Hill behind this house has a
poplar that has pushed out and broken a fence.
- (Picture 7) 7528 Penobscot: Swale fence/gate are rusted
and unpainted.
- (Picture 8) 24632 Stonegate: Fence is rusting through on
the caps. (Same area as picture 7)
- Between Stonegate and Carmenita
- (Pictures 9 and 10) Behind the 1-story house at the end of the
3-house driveway: Newly planted myoporum are brown and
dying from under-watering.
- (Picture 11) Behind 24607 Stonegate: A drain pipe sticks
out of the hillside.
