This also opens up interesting possibilities for camping or other remote travels. As long as you don't need to travel more than 46 miles per day (and the days at your campsite are long and sunny like at their headquarters in Carlsbad), you can conceivably wander far away from any charging station. You can even power small campsite electronics from the on-board outlets.
The overall capacity of the Launch Edition battery is enough to travel approximately 400 miles. For long-distance trips, the battery can be recharged at any NACS DC fast charger, of which there are more than 35,000 across the US.
