Here are some Java libraries to skip in 2021, and the reason why.
Nokogiri
An XML/HTML parser library. There are plenty of options out there, and this one seems to have non-Java binary dependencies and no maven dependency.
Activiti
A business processing framework. Most of these sorts of tools are more trouble than they are worth, unless you are the 1% of people in exactly the right space.
