Xubuntu 13.04 Gateway Suspend Fix
Summary
After closing my laptop lid and reopening, waking up from suspend
doesn't work right. After entering my password, the screen goes black
and it is unusable. On an Ubuntu forum I found this trick:
Add this entry in Settings/Keyboard/Application Shortcuts:
- Command:
xrandr --output LVDS --mode 1366x768 --pos 0x0 --rotate normal
- Key: Win-X (it will say "Super-X"
After entering your password, press Win-X and your display will appear.
Not elegant, but it does work.
