Categories

  1. Native App: An application that can be configured and controlled using the remote control. Such apps must also be installed by extracting to a network share without further editing. An application can still be in this category and have optional command-line parameters and configuration tweaks available, provided those options are not needed by the majority of users.
  2. Command-Line GUI App: An application that requires either configuration, entry of command-line parameters, or interactive control via logging in to the PhotoBridge, but which uses the television display (or audio output) in some way,
  3. Command-Line-Only App: An application that is controlled entirely via the PhotoBridge telnet interface and that does not utilize the video or audio output.
