San Junipero (Black Mirror: Season 3, Episode 4)

San Junipero is a multi-level mystery, a love story, and a tale of tech bringing joy to the hopeless. The reveal at the end of the first half is only the beginning to this episode that remains strong throughout. Unlike most other episodes in the series, San Junipero shows the joyous possibilities of technology. As realistically and terrifyingly as other episodes show us the danger of tech run amok, this episode shows us how near-future virtual worlds could allow people to live and love outside the limits of this mortal coil.
