Democracy in America is the debut novel from Peter N. Oliver. Set in the late 1970's, it covers the dramatic events leading up to a presidential election from the perspective of a seasoned newspaper reporter. During a hotly contested primary season, the reporter uncovers a scandal that strikes at the heart of one candidate's ethical standing. Paired with a dogged but rookie reporter, can they unearth conclusive evidence before the election renders it moot?
