Legend: Review

In Legend, foes in a totalitarian state (headquartered in a partially-underwater Los Angeles) find that they share a common goal. Seemingly aimed at a YA audience, it has many familiar elements. A pair of main characters from "different sides of the track". A will-they-or-won't they dynamic. Character flaws are minimal.

Overall, Legend spends so much time on its characters that the dystopian world fades into the background. While the story is interesting, with some decent twists and turns, it ultimately feels like it could be set in any time.
