Dust: Review

Spoiler Alert: While most reviews here are spoiler-free, Dust reveals details about Wool and Shift that may ruin the intrigue. Please read those books before reading this review.

Dust by Hugh Howey is the sequel to Wool. It continues the tale of Juliette and her silo-mates. They have learned that their silo isn't alone, and that other silos exist nearby. The omniscient, controlling voice on the other end of the IT headset could be an ally or a foe, but the power wielded from afar threatens everyone in the silo. Will Jules save her friends in a nearby silo? Will she be able to hold her silos together in the face of tragedies caused from within and without? Drama and action unfold, with new discoveries about the larger world around them, all the way to the dramatic conclusion.

Like Wool, I found the world of Dust amazingly dystopian yet incredibly constructed. I heartily recommend the entire trilogy.
